Welcome to the Learning Cave

Learn to think. Design to solve. Build what matters.

Your journey from curious beginner to confident designer starts here. Master design fundamentals, sharpen your skills, explore AI-powered workflows, and build real-world projects through practical, structured learning.

Learn at your pace. Practice with purpose. Grow with a tribe.

More than just courses

We don't just teach design. We develop designers.

Knowing a tool doesn't make you a designer. Design takes curiosity, empathy, critical thinking and the habit of solving real problems.

So we pair structured learning with practical challenges and professional workflows.

Less passive learning.
More intentional practice.

The 7th Tribe approach

Four pillars. One designer.

  • 01

    Design Foundations

Understand why good design works before you learn which buttons to click: people, problems, principles and context.

  • 02

    Figma Mastery

Command one of the industry's key collaborative design tools: components, Auto Layout, variables and prototypes.

  • 03

    AI-Native Workflows

Use AI to move faster without giving up judgment or ownership of the work.

  • 04

    Real-World Practice

Turn knowledge into skill through quizzes, assignments and projects, and learn to explain your decisions.

Your journey, your pace

Wherever you are, there's a path forward.

A learning path is a direction: where you start, what you build, and where you can go next. Individual courses sit inside the path that suits them.

Designing for what's next

The future belongs to designers who can think beyond the canvas.

AI is changing how products are researched, designed, prototyped and built. At Learning Cave it is part of the design process, not a separate topic: you learn which tools to use at each stage, and when not to.

  • Figma & Figma AI

Interface design, visual exploration, prototyping, systems and AI-assisted design workflows.

  • ChatGPT

Research support, problem framing, ideation, synthesis, writing and structured design thinking.

  • Claude & Claude Code

Product reasoning, implementation support, code-aware design workflows and rapid iteration.

  • Lovable

AI-assisted application prototyping, functional product experiments and idea validation.

  2. DefineFrame the problem
  3. IdeateWiden options
  4. DesignExplore visuals
  5. PrototypeBuild faster
  6. ValidateDraft test plans
  7. BuildCode-aware handoff

Blue text: where AI can support that stage. The thinking, testing and decisions stay with you.

AI accelerates execution. Design thinking determines direction.

AI does not replace research, judgment, testing or design fundamentals. Every stage above still needs a designer who understands why.

Good designers learn. Great designers grow together.

Design is not a journey you have to navigate alone.

Our philosophy

Don't just learn to use Figma. Learn to think like a designer.

Tools change. Trends evolve. Technology advances. But the ability to understand people, challenge assumptions, solve problems, and create meaningful experiences remains invaluable.

That's the kind of designer we're here to develop.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

Is Learning Cave suitable for complete beginners?

Yes. The Beginner path starts from design fundamentals. Courses are labelled by level, so you can see where each one starts before you open it.

Do I need previous design experience?

No. You do need curiosity and regular time to practise. Beginner courses assume no prior design experience; Intermediate and Advanced courses say what they expect up front.

Are the courses self-paced or cohort-based?

Courses on the platform are taken inside the learning platform, so you can work through them on your own schedule. Bootcamps are guided, cohort-style programmes and are run separately from self-paced courses.

What tools will I learn?

Figma is central. Depending on the course, you will also work with ChatGPT, Claude and Claude Code, and Lovable as supporting tools. Each course page lists what it covers.

How is AI integrated into the curriculum?

As a supporting tool inside the design process, not a shortcut around it. You still do the research, make the decisions and test the result; AI helps you move faster on the parts that suit it.

Will I complete practical assignments and projects?

Courses are built around lessons, quizzes and applied work. Which courses include assignments or a capstone project depends on the course, so check the course page.

How do I join a bootcamp or internship?

Both are programmes, not open enrolment from this page. Use the enquiry form in the Bootcamps and Internship section to ask about the next intake.

Can I learn directly from my mobile phone?

Yes. The learning platform runs in your phone's browser, and you sign in with the same account you use on a computer.

How do I access my courses after enrolling?

Log in at the top of this page. Your courses and progress are in your account on the learning platform.

Can organizations request customized training?

Yes. Use the enquiry form below to tell us what your team needs. We will reply to discuss scope; nothing is priced or promised on this page.
